1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Syllamake, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Syllamake is a web-based platform that uses AI to convert syllabus documents into organized calendars. We provide both free and paid (Pro) tiers of service.

3. Account Registration

To use Syllamake, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Be at least 13 years old
• Keep your password secure
• Not share your account with others

4. Service Plans

Free Plan:

• 2 syllabus uploads total
• Calendar and to-do list features
• Basic editing capabilities

Pro Plan ($5 one-time):

• Unlimited syllabus uploads
• Export to .ics calendar files
• Save unlimited calendars
• Priority support

5. Payment Terms

Pro plan payments are processed securely through Stripe. The $5 payment is a one-time fee for lifetime access. All sales are final and non-refundable unless required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that violates any laws or regulations
• Use the service to harm, harass, or impersonate others
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
• Share copyrighted material without permission
• Use the service for commercial purposes without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload. By using Syllamake, you grant us a license to process your content to provide the service. We own all rights to the Syllamake platform, design, and code.

8. AI Processing

We use Anthropic's Claude AI to process your syllabus content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying all dates and assignments.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Syllamake is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be 100% accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any missed assignments, incorrect dates, or academic consequences resulting from use of our service. Always verify all information with your official syllabus.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
